RLTAC parking

Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center has outlined parking areas for MTFOA officials for the upcoming winter indoor season, according to RLTAC's Keith McDermott and Steve Keyes.

Parking is first come, first served. If  the Northeast Parking Lot at the rear entrance to RLTAC is full, officials must find street parking or park at the Islamic Center across the street (Malcolm X Blvd) or park in Lots 1 and 2 at Roxbury Community College. The track officials pass should clearly be displayed on the dashboard in any case.

These instructions are for MFTOA officials only. Officials are not to share this information with friends, family or the public. RLTAC does not want to give outside parties (parents, etc.) the idea that they can park in RLTAC lots. RLTAC will provide parking information on its website about which lots the public can park in.

On the Northeast  parking lot diagram above, "no parking" areas are clearly indicated. Any car parked in the fire lane/new access road will automatically be towed by Stanley Towing company (they will monitor).

Do not to park cars to the left when you come into the Northeast lot because that plaza is Madison Park HS property. RLTAC has an agreement with the headmaster of the school not to park there because MPHS has Saturday/Sunday events also. Gerry Lake, the man in the white Camry, will be covering most Saturday meets and some of the Sunday ones.

Absolutely "no parking" in the Reggie Lewis Staff parking lot (outside of shotput/300 meter start) at any time of the week, including weekends. This lot is strictly for Reggie Lewis Center staff. Green stickers will be affixed to violators as a warning first and then further infractions will result in the vehicle being towed.

The red highlighted area at the Islamic Center shown above is available for parking.

To access lot officials should drive down Elmwood Street (street pictured left), then left onto Roxbury Street, then first left onto King Street – halfway down King Street and left into parking lot.

Officials should place officials parking pass on dashboard – clearly displayed. If you run into any problems you must say parking was cleared by Jawad Benazzi, the facilities manager for the Islamic Center.

Parking is also available at the RCC lots P1 and P2 off Columbus Avenue shown above.

Parking passes will not be issued after the December meeting. If you cannot make that meeting have someone pick up the pass for you with your vehicle information.

Regardless of where you park, please make sure your parking permit is displayed on your dashboard.

Contact Steve Keyes if you have any questions at 617.602.1017.
